Our mission
To create a sustainable food production system through regenerative agriculture, with techniques like raising our livestock on pasture and utilizing the manure to create compost in order to increase the organic matter of the soil, and fertilize our market garden, while eliminating the need for external fertilizers, chemical, or otherwise.
To develop a climate change mitigation strategy by contributing to the reduction of imported foods, promoting local, seasonal food consumption; practicing carbon sequestration farming techniques, and reducing or eliminating single use food packaging materials.
To improve community resilience by means of food, fun events, and educational workshops; reducing pressure on the wider food distribution system through our farm-share/CSA, and farm-stand, as well as by creating local employment opportunities.
To increase nutritional literacy in our community to empower people with confidence to make choices that will improve their health, and wellbeing.
